Hibari: A Leading Japanese Animation Design Group Establishes a Vietnamese Office.

Hibari, a leading Japanese anime production studio, officially inaugurated its first subsidiary in Vietnam on the morning of May 12, 2023. Located at 16A Le Hong Phong Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, this event marks a significant milestone in the company’s international market expansion strategy.

The name “Hibari” is inspired by the lark, a bird that symbolizes spring in Japanese culture. It represents new life and fresh beginnings. Although small, the lark’s melodious song is a sign of joy and good fortune, conveying a meaningful message of a prosperous start for the company in Vietnam.

With its extensive experience and notable works, Hibari has solidified its position in the anime industry. Its films, such as Kengan Ashura, Assassination Classroom the Movie: 365 Days, and Assassination Classroom: The First Season, have garnered a global following.

The grand opening was attended by many distinguished guests, including Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association, Mr. Mitsunobu Seiji – Director of Hibari Vietnam, Mr. Miyazaki Yuji – Vice Director of Studio Hibari Japan, along with department heads from Hibari Japan, and actress Diem My 9x. The presence of the family members of Hibari Vietnam staff added a warm and meaningful touch to the event.
